Verify Your Entry Requirements

Thank you for registering for the Diploma of Work Health & Safety (BSB51319).

We’re excited for you to get started with your enrolment and begin your studies with us, but before your enrolment can progress, we will need to verify that you meet the entry requirements specific to the course.

For the Diploma of Work Health & Safety (BSB51319) you must hold all Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (BSB41419) core units or equivalent competencies.

These include:

    • BSBWHS412 Assist with workplace compliance with WHS laws
    • BSBWHS413 Contribute to implementation and maintenance of WHS consultation and participation processes
    • BSBWHS414 Contribute to WHS risk management
    • BSBWHS415 Contribute to implementing WHS management systems
    • BSBWHS416 Contribute to workplace incident response

There are a few ways you are able to verify that you meet the entry requirements specific to the course.

Recommended: Grant us temporary access to your USI

An easy way to verify your previous study is by granting us temporary access to your USI (Unique Student Identifier) account

To do this:

    1. Log into the USI Student Portal.
    2. Select ‘Provide your USI’ in the Student Portal.
    3. Scroll down and select ‘Add Organisation’ under Set Up Access To Your USI Account / Permissions.
    4. Enter our Organisation Code 22228 and select ‘Search’.
    5. In the Search Results select ‘Add’ next to the College For Adult Learning’s details.
    6. Select the ‘View VET Transcript’ and ‘View Details’ with a ‘3 Months expiry date’ under Permissions.
    7. Select ‘Save’.
    8. Fill in the form below and let us know that you’ve granted us temporary access.
    9. Submit the completed form for us to process.
Upload a VET transcript PDF

You can download a verifiable VET transcript on the USI Student Portal and share the PDF with us to verify that you meet the entry requirements.

You can do this by:

    1. Log into the USI Student Portal,
    2. Select ‘View VET Transcript’ in the USI Student Portal,
    3. Select ‘View Transcript’ and read the information. If you agree with the transcript record, select the tick boxes and select ‘Next’,
    4. Select ‘Download Transcript’ and choose to save the PDF,
    5. Upload the PDF via the form below and submit the completed form for us to process.

Upload a scanned, certified copy of your testamur, record of results, or statement of attainment if you completed the entry requirements prior to 2015.

  1. Get certified copies of original documentation showing completion of required units.
  2. Scan your certified copies and save as PDF, ensuring they are clear and easy to read.
  3. Upload your PDF files as evidence in the form below.
  4. Submit the completed form for us to process.

Note: We may need to get in contact with your previous education provider(s) for further verification if needed.

 

 

Once we’ve verified that you have satisfied the entry requirements, we will contact you regarding the outcome of your application within five business days.
