Her simulation calls are amicable and focus on the authentic corporate experience that is associated with the double diploma. Just completed double Diploma of Human Resource Management Leadership & Management with CAL. Completing a Double Diploma while working with a young family has been challenging and Marissa supported me every step of the way. Signed up for a Double Diploma of project management and leadership and management. After initial deposit I received login details a couple of days later. I logged in and had absolutely no idea on how to progress through the site and where to start. I called Yaz who signed me up, he informed me a teacher would contact me the following week to go through the course and site. The following week I received a cut and paste generic email saying welcome and do xxxx subject first. It was extremely overwhelming the amount of reading plus the YouTube videos (which amounted to hrs, this I found ridiculous) I tried to call for assistance and found the only way to speak to someone was to book a call (like a doctor's appointment) the earliest appointment I could get was over a week later. I didn't end up receiving the assistance promised or advertised. The RPL seems bogus too as nothing was mentioned about my Advanced diploma of electrical engineering or Accounting. I did expect RPL straight away for those qualifications.I ended up withdrawing from the course as the promised help and care was not even close to what was sold.Note it's not entirely risk free sign up as there is a fee for cancellation, which was disappointing as I felt I paid a fee to get the run around for 3 weeks.

Meagn and the team at the College for Adult Learning were a pleasure to work with. When looking for a partnee to deliver the Diploma of Leadership 7 Management for a client, I was looking for a knowledgeable, reliable provider that knew the Diploma content inside out, as well as allowing me the flexibility to adjust things to meet client needs. Great customer service, they actually care & want you to succeed! You are not just a number and they are very helpful. I highly recommend studying with CAL. To further my knowledge in WHS I decided to sign up with CAL for a Cert IV in this field, the Cert IV course was not just a "do a module and move on" but became a learning journey that was interesting, challenging but most of all pleasurable, the college support was unbelievable, if I had questions the live chat student support would point me in the right direction.Being in my 60's I was unsure if I had the ability to succeed, my coach Robyn kept me motivated and driven, my success came.I will recommend CAL to any of my work colleagues internal, or external, that wish to take on further study as from my experience, the courses are well managed and supported, the Cert IV has become a wealth of knowledge for me and has enabled me to enhance skills and apply new ones learned.Looking back, I have enjoyed every minute of it.

Amazing training, great support, flexible learning without restrictions or deadlines. I was able to base my studies around work and life without issues. Even when I needed an extension the college was accommodating and gave me 6 months for free to finish my studies. Thank you!

Terrible service and response to money related issues. I opted to pull out of this course 1 week after their grace period as I had to care for a family member indefinitely. But instead of showing compassion they have taken 18 payments of $205 since then. Pretty hard to pay since I haven't worked since then.

My husband signed up for some [email protected]$h!t course with this company and they lied to him before his admission. He specifically said before admission that he would only enrol if no online or video exams were required in the courses, because of work commitments he wouldn’t be able to do video or online courses during the day. The representative with this company was only interested in signing him up to an unfair contract and lied and said that there was no video or online exams. The very first course had video exams. Further, they never made any attempt to make sure the course was relevant to him and that he was assessed as actually being able to complete the course, as required by the standards for any registered training organisation. This type of practice is unethical and unprofessional, which is key to the standards that are legally obliged to follow. Further, any training organisation that is not eligible for HECS or other govt support AVOID AT ALL COSTS, they are just scam artists in plain sight.

DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS COMPANY. YOU CANNOT WITHDRAW FROM THE COURSE, AND THEY MAKE YOU PAY THE WHOLE AMOUNT WHETHER YOU CONTINUE OR NOT. THE COURSE CONTENT IS IRRELEVANT AND THEY JUST USE OLD YOUTUBE VIDEOS. THE COURSE/ASSIGNMENT STRUCTUREIS ALSO TERRIBLE. YOU WAIT WEEKS FOR COMMUNICATION AND STUDENT SUPPORT. Zero would be generous.

This rating is purely based on my experience with Marissa L. I have had difficulties with other coach but then I found Marissa. I'll try to keep it short, however Marissa L is the best learning coach that I've encountered whilst my study with CAL.I am so grateful for all the support, encouragement and help I received from her throughout. She is a very kind and considerate towards the time and efforts students put in.She is extremely organised and very responsive. She offers many additional advices/tool to help with the process and she definitely goes out of her way to ensure students are getting what they need.I would highly recommend Marissa L to everyone who are struggling in their course at the moment or taking course with CAL. I would have given 1000 stars if possible for Marissa L!

Don't sign up to this course if you are expecting a teacher to be available during the day you'd like.To schedule a call with a teacher, you have to wait 5 days to be talk to anyone.Emails go unanswered for days and then when they finally get answered, the response does not answer your question.Chat function is useless as they just tell you to schedule a call.During the course, you do little 'asignments' but there are zero examples to help you along with this.Videos are not done locally and just 'found' you YouTube.All the above is delaying my studying. I work full-time and now have to work around a teachers schedule instead of working off my schedule. I've asked to pull out and be refunded but you're unable to be refunded. I'm really unhappy with this course.

I have recently completed my Diploma with CAL. Originally I was intending to do a Double Diploma however I found the Project Management content was very outdated, however, with the new refresh of content in the last 12 months I have found CAL certainly picked up it's game. I had some great coaches - Kerri and Marissa - who really helped me. Loved the flexibility of self paced study.

Do not under any circumstances study the Diploma of Practice Management through this organisation. Irrelevant course content, when concerns are raised you are treated like a number. So disappointed.

I recently finished a Double Diploma in Quality Auditing and Business Compliance at CAL. I had a wonderful experience, the learning material is very rich and the staff is very supportive! After 2 years I have completed a Double Diploma of Building and Construction Management and Project Management. There are no other RTO's where you can do this and undertake work at your own pace in your own time. I have seen the online platform and case studies improve greatly over this time and highly recommend anyone who wants to study to consider CAL. Easy to navigate platform with constant updates to provide the students the most up to date and easy to use curriculum. The assessors I dealt with were knowledgeable, helpful, patient and without them, I wouldn't have gotten the pleasant experience or results I did. I recently completed a double diploma in project management + construction management. The online platform was very user friendly and I was able to understand the follow the content pretty well. If I required assistance there was always motivated staff ready to assist and resolve any issues in a timely manner.Special thanks to Marrisa Litonjua and Wendy Close who assisted me greatly in further understanding the subjects and course content.CAL also offer recognition of prior learning which assisted me as I have been in the industry for 16 years and was able to gain recognition of a large amount of the course content.I would definitely train and study with CAL again in any future opportunities.

I found studying through CAL practical as there were no deadlines to meet, the work was all actually what self-paced is all about. All the assessors I have completed by studies with were excellent, friendly and happy to be flexible where needed. If you are contemplating study, with the addition of work and children, CAL is your calling! Diploma now completed and I could not be happier!

Poor quality, inconsistent training provider.Half way through my Logistics Diploma my coach/teacher was changed without warning. The new teacher has not been trained properly and is not able to coach me effectively and or conduct simulations as they should be as he has no idea how to navigate the students submissions etc.This is not the first time I have encountered this training providers incompetence.Badly run college, if you want professional tuition I recommend you go elsewhere!

This was made possible by the amazing staff and CALs focus on adult education. I just completed a Diploma of Human Resources Management (plus the Cert IV pathway package). It was a seamless process and the staff were always providing excellent support. While I had a variety of learning coaches, most of the guidance were given by Marissa L and Kerri W. They are highly experienced and provided an advanced level of coaching. Would thoroughly recommend this option.

SAVE YOUR MONEYAbsolutely pathetic, unhelpful, money hungry place.Long story short,I Firstly enrolled in a double diploma of logistics and leadership management. The course was poorly constructed and didn’t receive any support or mentoring calls they promised for the entire time I was enrolled. Eventually transferred the course to a cert IV in leadership management but still the same. Due to my family and other personal circumstances I requested to withdraw from the enrolment with a refund but very unhelpful and unprofessional, student finance manager David Whitty insisted that I should continue to pay for the course and rejected my request.Took me a few emails to explain it to him without any success.Now I’m out 3K of pocket and without a qualification either.Do your research and spend your money elsewhere.You can’t expect a quality service from these people. Speaking from my experience.Other reviews are good examples too for you to steer clear from this place.Once they get your money, you don’t exist to them.PS: To The team at CAL, I don’t expect a response to this from you.

I have just completed my Double Diploma in Quality Auditing and Business (Compliance) with CAL. The experience has been a positive one, the two main coaches/assessors that have supported me through are Marissa and Robyn - they are amazingly patient and helped me through the assessment workbooks. Thank you both very much! I would recommend studying with CAL as the student portal is easy to navigate and there is flexibility with choosing simulation assessment times. After a short break I will be studying with CAL again.

I have been doing a double diploma for a few months now, and have found the staff to be very helpful, in both completing the assigned tasks and conducting the roleplays. The staff have great customer focus, and make you really feel good about yourself and the quality of the work you produce. Feedback is always very helpful and focused. I recently asked for guidance in attaining a plan to reach my desired job role. The information provided was extremely helpful. I now feel confident in what I need to do to get the role I desire. I was provided with a well thought out plan and provided with actions I can take that will help me not only attain my desired role, but a plan I can utilise for any work-related career in the future. I got a lot more than I expected. The 30 min career guidance session provided me confidence and a well thought out plan. Anyone looking to better their career, goals, and ambitions, I highly recommend “College for Adult Learning” 5 Stars!

A very detailed and systematically designed course with excellent; helpful and friendly staff members. The mentors were very helpful and they guided me thoroughly.It was quite a challenge to get Diploma in Project Management (BSB 50280) and Diploma in Construction Management (CPC 50308) while working but when you consistently work towards your goal, success is just next step away.I would definitely recommend Nasser Babaee- a good mentor and a guide; Kerry Waddell; Marissa Litonjua and Mehran Babaee- very supportive and a good guide. Without them the journey would have been very difficult.Thank you.

I am very pleased I made the decision to undertake online study with CAL. The flexibility of working at my own pace, and the ease of communicating with the administration team, coaches, and assessors, have contributed to achieving my goal of completing a Diploma of Quality Auditing. Assessment roleplays were difficult to organise during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, where I needed to seek friends or colleagues willing to act as participants for a zoom meeting, write the scripts for everyone to meet the required criteria, record the session, and submit it for assessment. While this was enjoyable, it was time consuming. Assessor, Robyn Smith, implemented an excellent method of assuming the role as auditee / audit team, conducting a role-play simulation via zoom, where I was assessed immediately on my performance and received constructive feedback. I was able to make bookings for upcoming role-plays, which kept me to task in maintaining a steady flow of working at my assessments. I appreciate the guidance, skills and knowledge I have gained, and thank CAL for their part in my professional journey.

I started a douple diploma of Business Administration & Practice Management in October 2020. I originally gave myself the full two years to complete the diplomas and have finished ahead of schedule after 20 months. I'll be honest and say it was really hard work at times as I also work full time and am juggling three children but I did it and couldn't be happier.The course content was good but I found listening to the tutorials hard work as the voices were really monotone. I ended up printing the script and reading it myself which helped.Pro's about the course:Good course contentWorked at my own paceCon's about the courses:Difficulty booked coaching sesions in a reasonable time particularly as I am in WAResponse to coach questions weas sometimes delayedThere were some typos in the script that were confusing at timesOn the whole, it has been a positive experience.Thanks CAL

Don't sign up to this college if you are expecting a teacher to be available during the day you'd like.To schedule a call with a teacher, you have to wait at least 5 days. I work full-time and now have to work around a teachers schedule instead of working off my schedule.Initially I was told that I would only have to study 4-6 hours a week and I would be done in a year. It took me 6 months to complete one subject due to the extensive assignments required and the way the teachers want everything worded. It must be written exactly how they want, otherwise, you'll have to keep making changes.In reality, the study itself doesn't take long, the assignments take months to complete!I've asked to pull out and be refunded but you're unable to be refunded. I'm really unhappy with this course.I work abroad a lot so find it difficult to study during this time as it is 24/7 work when away.I have asked to pay for the subject I Have done and be refunded on the rest but apparently that is an option and they only allow you do to this if you do it within the first 30 days. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance in the first 30 days. I had to make an unexpected trip overseas which delayed me logging in again.I have used my full differal of 3 months with travel coming up.How do we get a refund outside the 30days? Can I just pay for the pathway course and pull out of the diploma?

Was given the wrong information on a course by their staff member too interested in getting my signature and charged over $4400 then refused a refund after they did not offer the course I enquired about after being led astray. Taking to ombudsman as the finance guy is a rude prick. Beware they’re scammers..

I just finished a double diploma in Practice Management & Business Administration.Yes it is a lot of work to get through , as Like most things in life . Biggest tip would just be if your not sure just put a coaching call in , as I did many of times .Meagan was absolutely brilliant in always helping me , when I needed it .Kerry was also great at helping me too .These 2 ladies made my whole online studying amazing .Thanks lovely ladies !!Highly recommend CAL

The material is ridiculously complicated for what it is. The hours required to complete it are way beyond what was initially stated. Help isn’t available out of hours, advice given varies & contradicts depending which coach responds. The lectures are a mish mash of old notes & poorly updated information, terminology varies throughout & the assessments often don’t even line up with the unit. There’s no follow up. Do not use CAL.

I have just completed my double diploma in HR Management and Business Admin. This has been one of the best online platforms that I have used for my learning experiences. The content Is excellent and very thorough, there are various methods you can use, depending on your learning style. There is a lot of work, but is totally rewarding as you work through it. My biggest take home is if you have any issues or get stuck is to always communicate with the lecturers or even the office staff, the whole team is super supportive. I struggled a couple of times with work time pressures where it got too much, the CAL team where very supportive and assisted me through it. Kerry and Marissa where both great facilitators when working though my major assignments, and thanks them both for making it an easy process. At the end of the day CAL want you to pass and will work with you through the process. Thanks to the CAL team!!! 😎😎

I have just completed my double diploma in project management and leadership management. It has a lot of information and I learned so much. The price you pay in money and mentality was worth having these two diplomas now and I can’t thank CAL enough. I have always had good experiences with the coach’s, timing and content. I have studied with CAL for the past 22 months, completing a double diploma of Practice Management and Business Administration, Meagan my accessor has been a wealth of knowledge and assistance in developing my career in Practice Management. I signed up with CAL to study the Double Diploma of Business Administration and HR. They advertised, “you will work directly with your own individual learning coach“ and receive “Expert and up-to-date content”. Unfortunately, I experienced multiple documents that were out-of-date including unit assessments. When I brought this to their attention, they were unapologetic regarding my time spent following this up, after I had already completing assignments to the best of my ability using content they provided. The student portal had a notice that updates were taking place, however it was not clear as to which documents were being updated. The coaches are friendly, however, I had three different coaches telling me three different requirements for a unit assessment. CAL did not facilitate an online learning environment that they advertised in this regard. I had all intentions on completing my study with CAL and had no issues with the workload itself. I do not recommend CAL and would suggest if you do sign up and have any regrets, to utilise the 30 day money back guarantee straight away. I have since withdrawn from the courses because of the ongoing issues with course content being out of date and an inconsistent coaching approach. After expressing my concerns to the institution and application to withdraw, it took several negotiations with senior management to reach an agreement of a partial refund. I will continue to actively pursue study with a more reputable institution.

Terrible experience. Scam after 30 days you don’t get your money back. Site incredibly difficult to navigate. Case studies in other sections outside of assessments with no clear direction on how to find. Limited support. Coach calls back 1-2 days after booking. Do not waste your money and if you do you can’t say you were not warned. The idea seems good but their coaches aren’t in house so you can’t chat to them for a quick simple question to help progress.

I found my whole experience with CAL to be a positive one. It's been many years since I have been in a "school" environment, so it took some discipline to get through this course. I set myself a 2 hour minimum study period each day which took a fair bit of effort and focus, as I work full-time plus have a family to look after. It was hard initially, but after a couple of weeks, I found my rhythm and it was smooth sailing after that. I also didn't put any pressure on myself-if I had a bad day at work-I didn't touch any study as I found no joy when I hit the books in that frame of mind, and that made it hard work. So, I found giving study a miss for one or two days actually beneficial, and when I did go back, I was more involved and interested in my course than before. I have nothing but praise for the support I received from the whole team at CAL - from the admin staff to the tutors. They responded quickly and the coaching calls helped me to get to the next questions/units quickly. A big thank you to each of you for the part you played in helping me achieve a long-held goal. I highly recommend CAL to anybody who is looking to take on some study. The content is laid out well and easily followed. The exercises for each topic and the assessments went a long way in ensuring that the information absorbed was drilled home.

CAL provided a great opportunity to learn at your own pace. I would highly recommend their Diploma of Project Management if you are new to the field and looking for an opportunity to learn as you do. The Diploma greatly supported the project I was working on at the time, running me through all the steps as I implemented them.

I have just completed a double diploma with CAL. I found all of the staff there very supportive indeed and did not experience any rudeness whatsoever. Unforeseen circumstances meant that i had to request an extension , CAL were very professional in their response and understanding. Studying online is not for everyone and can be difficult if you are returning back to study after a long period. However CAL are there to support you it just takes a little bit of time to get a response from your coach, but once you are speaking with them they clarify and help you with your course work. I would recommend sourcing a study group either students from CAL or somewhere else where you can bounce ideas off each other regarding the course. This will help you as you work through the self directed learning and complete your tasks and activities in the course.Thanks to all the team at CAL who helped me through my course and got me to the end.

I really enjoy my studies at the college of Adult Learning, ( I am studying the double Diploma in Human Resources and Leadership Management)the trainers are helpful and very easy to talk to. It’s taken me a bit longer to complete than expected but I can go at my own pace and I now book regular coaching calls to keep me active in my studies. Over all, I’m really happy I choose this course and this college.

I recently completed the Double Diploma in Project Management | Leadership and Management. From my initial enquiry and dealings with Tristan who was super helpful, informative and supportive, through to starting the course with the help of Student engagement coach David who helped me every step of the way and checked in to see how I was getting on, The College for Adult Learning was a fantastic learning experience which exceeded my expectations. With each Unit completed the next would be unlocked straight away and marked within the times stated (generally in half the time). The feedback from the coaches was the best of all always super encouraging and supportive but also included much needed advice in areas that may require extra study or focus. Anything I was unsure of I simply booked a time that suited me for a coach to call me to discuss anything I was unsure about. I highly rate and recommend CAL and look forward to studying with them again in the near future! Thanks so much guys !!

Staff are very rude. Takes them a few days to reply to emails. They don’t check in on their students, their response is we don’t like to bother them. They make out that it’s your fault when you try and cancel. DO NOT STUDY HERE.
